Kumaun University is a public university established in 1973 with the merger of government colleges namely D.S.B. Govt. PG College, Nainital, and Almora Govt. PG College, Almora. The university has a beautiful campus. The Kumaun University campus is well-decorated and eco-friendly. It offers a wide range of course-related amenities. The minimum average percentage required for admission to the UG and PG courses is 50% in the previous qualifying examination.
